June 4 and 5, 1999: Room B101, Veterinary Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, 3850 Spruce St., Philadelphia, PA 19104
The conference theme is intended to be broad, covering not only how human gender differences affect attitudes and behavior towards animals and the natural world, or how gender differences among animals influence their behavior towards us or our perceptions of them, but also the many ways in which animals and nature are symbolically gendered in popular and scholarly discourse.
Program: Friday, June 4 Saturday, June 5
